Mr & Mrs Kearns - Spurstow, Cheshire
We nearly chose not to buy our property because of the windows! They were plastic, in a 150 year cottage they looked awful, but we allowed for the replacement of the windows and doors and bought the house. Being situated in exposed, open countryside we wanted to find a company that would understand what we wanted and remain in keeping with the rest of the surroundings.
We eventually chose Cheshire Joinery Services and we are so pleased we did. They helped with the design (hidden rebates – a must for cottages), and the quality of products and fittings were excellent.
It is two years since the doors and windows were fitted and whilst a couple of small issues have arisen these have been quickly dealt with. I feel secure in the knowledge should any issues arise in the future CJS will deal with them – it’s part of the package – for 10 years!
Mr and Mrs France-Hayhurst - Bunbury, Cheshire
We've been using Cheshire Joinery for the past four years and they have been absolutely marvellous. The workmanship is meticulous and they have double-glazed some very difficult & oddly-shaped windows in our Victorian house. They are totally reliable and incredibly neat as well as being a delight to have on site. We're very fortunate to have such a high-quality outfit in Cheshire
Mr & Mrs Burton - Peckforton, Cheshire
We first bought a door set from CJS over ten years ago; subsequently we have bought windows, doors and even a 4.5m roof light!
We previously had softwood windows which rotted, so this time we wanted to buy a product which would not rot or have to be replaced, we also wanted a workshop painted finish.
CJS and hardwood was definitely the way to go! The first door and frame is in constant use every day and still looks as good as when it was first fitted (over ten years ago). I have absolutely no doubt it will be there for a long time to come.
Mr and Mrs Scott-Davies - Clotton, Cheshire
The guys at Cheshire joinery were a genuine pleasure to work with from start to finish. They listened to what we were wanting to achieve, added some helpful suggestions that hadn’t occurred to us, and the final result has completely transformed our home.
In this day and age it’s hard to find a company who care so passionately about their craftsmanship, and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.
Mr & Mrs McGarva - Cheshire
We chose Cheshire Joinery Services for our new bay windows for our sitting room and dining room because they had previously fitted replacement windows for our kitchen.
We are absolutely delighted with the new windows.
Our house was built in 1817 and the bay windows were added in the 1920s. These windows were stained glass and did not match the style of the house. We looked all over the country to find a style of window which would suit the house and ultimately found a suitable example on a house near Nantwich. Armed with a photograph Cheshire Joinery manufactured beautiful bay windows which compliment our house. They are perfect.
The widows were fitted with a minimum of fuss and no mess whatsoever was left.
We would recommend Cheshire Joinery Services to anyone.
